Site Design: The Ones That Got Away

A few layouts over the years that simply didn’t make the cut.

Nothing like an angry red sign doped up with lettering telling you your car may be towed away, here’s a friendlier approach. Please pull forward and enjoy your meal at Goose Loonies in downtown Bakersfield, California.

Notes: Sometimes as designers, we grow tired of our day to day web and graphic duties.. So, one long day at the office I decided to take a bunch of misprinted client presentation folders and dress Ryan up as a medieval knight. This was done with folders, time, a Canon 30D, the Bakersfield streets, and lots of staples. Within tens of minutes Ryan Northway, Fluxars head designer is converted into “The Knight”. This photo is raw and not Photoshopped, but Ryan did have to stand in the same spot and not move for 20 seconds!
